Storrs Smokehouse opened its BBQ pit and doors in April 2014 and it has been smoking ever since.
Renowned restauranteurs and owners of the Painted Lady Restaurant, Jessica Bagley and Allen Routt decided to open up this endeavor as a tribute to Allen’s Southern roots.
Storrs, named after Allen’s mother’s maiden name, is filled with family recipes paired with familiar Pacific Northwest flavors. Here you can find local meats smoked for days, house-made sauces like Oregon Pinot Noir BBQ sauce, homemade ice cream made by the dessert chef at the Painted Lady Restaurant and local Oregon wines and beers.
Located on the east-bound road of Hwy 99W in downtown Newberg, near the historic Cameo theater, Storrs has quickly become a foodie destination. Just follow the smell of good BBQ and you’ll find Storrs Smokehouse.
